Howard Greenspoon is one of the founding partners of Greenspoon, and practices in our Business and Real Estate Practice Groups.
As the senior partner in the corporate and commercial practice of Greenspoon, Howard has experience representing a broad range of corporate and commercial clients. His particular focus is on mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, implementation of optimal corporate structures, and real estate development projects.
His transactional skills include the negotiation, design and implementation of various strategic acquisitions and private equity transactions. He regularly oversees, negotiates, and prepares agreements and arrangements related to the sale, purchase, license, development, and lease of intellectual property goods and services. He has also been involved in transactions involving software development and large-scale licensing arrangements.
Howard was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 1990. He received his Bachelors of Common Law and Civil Law (L.L.B. and B.C.L.) from McGill University in 1989. He also received a Bachelor of Commerce degree from McGill University in 1985, in which his major was Finance. During his studies, Howard was the recipient of various academic scholarships and awards and he served as an Editor of the McGill Law Journal.
Howard leads Greenspoon’s team in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, venture capital, implementation of optimal corporate structures, and real estate development projects.
